Register, raise, run for research
The Beachside Dash is so much more than just a fun run. It is a community event that raises funds for medical research in St George and Sutherland Hospitals, and because the research we fund is conducted in your local hospitals, results are translated to patient treatment, providing the most up-to-date care for you, your families and our local community.
Make your own fundraising page to raise money for research
You can fundraise beyond your registration fee by setting up an online fundraising page and asking your friends, family and networks to donate to your page. Visit our Just Giving page and click on “Start Fundraising” to make your own fundraising page to share with your friends and family!
We want to thank you for all your hard work fundraising. We recognise this takes time and effort and we are very grateful that you have chosen to join our community and make a difference.
This year we have introduced new incentives and rewards for our amazing fundraisers!
- Fundraise $100 or more and you’ll go into the draw to win one of two $100 Westfield vouchers.

To be eligible to receive a fundraising prize, individuals must have registered to participate in the 2022 Beachside Dash, activated their fundraising page and raised at least $100 by 6 pm, Monday 12 September 2022. All funds raised will help SSMRF continue to support medical research in St George and Sutherland hospitals.
